This Might Be The Most Lit NAACP Image Awards Red Carpet Ever

<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://madamenoire.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/NAACP.jpg"><img src="http://madamenoire.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/NAACP-660x371.jpg" alt="" width="660" height="371" class="size-large wp-image-785459 aligncenter" /></a>If you were looking for a sign of Black Hollywood's wokeness, the NAACP Image Awards is it. In a time where complaints about the lack of opportunities for actors of color, particularly in film, continue to rise, it appears Black actors and actresses made a special point to attend the NAACP Image Awards this past Saturday, recognizing it as a place where their talent is always welcome and celebrated.</p> Of course there's always a good turnout at the annual award show, but this year seemed to have more star power than ever, which may just be a testament to how many great shows and movies with Black stars came out this past year, or a show of solidarity with the plight of people of color on screen and off. Either way, the red carpet was most definitely something to see. Take a look at the highlights.
